Floating in the Canal

In this Glass painting, I am trying to depict the shimmeriness and the driftedness of floating along a canal in Venice. The waterways are the same since centuries and the feeling of just absorbing the present moment makes me wonder how many times this same thought has passed through thousands of minds. The sunlight glimmers on the broken surface of the water and sounds come to me in broken fragment but here I am happy in my cocoon of a canoe…

Inspired by Venice, this original artwork has been created keeping the essence of Venezia in mind. The Hand Painted Pieces are all uniquely different. No one piece is the same as another.

This piece is made using Kiln-Forming Techniques.
