Machan Trip

So, me and goo found over selves in Lonavala one hot November afternoon, beneath the expressway flyovers. On a random whim, called The Machan, highly recommended by Mihir and Yooti, and got us our very own canopy Machan.

What followed were 3 days of extreme peace and quiet, and loads of me-time. The place is easy enough to reach but a bit of a hunt to find if you dont have directions. the locked gates keep the unwanted away. It is like a time-warp, you know, one of those places that has you contemplating the universe and the stars and the purpose of life.

The road to Machan is the same that goes to Amby Valley, except for the last couple of kms which are a bit dirt-trackish, me and goo having no problems with that :) not with the awesome tarmac and windy-wonky roads all accompanied by sweeping landscapes, lakes and what not.
